Authors will be notified of the status of abstract proposals by 25 November 2018.



Small Satellites

The section is devoted to the creation of new small satellites, their communication systems, control and maneuvering systems, onboard computers, power engineering and the problems of their launching into orbit.

Modeling for the Aerospace Applications

The section includes reports on modern mathematical methods for aerospace applications, including ballistic problems, strength physics, calculation of thermal effects and modeling of aerodynamics.

Space Debris

The problems of utilization of space debris, the current status of popular orbits and the development of new methods for collecting space wastes are discussed.

Student Paper Contest

During the conference will be a Student Paper Contest. Requirements for abstracts are the same as for abstracts for the main sections. Subjects of the report can be any related to space: modeling, experiment, theoretical calculations in such areas as continuous mechanics, plasma physics, ballistics, communication systems, space optics, and etc. 

After the title, please write the phrase “Student Paper Contest” in the theses.

Competitions will be held in 2 stages.
Correspondence stage: works will be sent by e-mail to the  сommittee and pass a preliminary review.
The face-to-face stage is the hearing of presentations by speakers at the IAS conference.

The Deadline of abstract submission is 10 November.



Abstracts are provided in English and include:

  • Name of section;

  • Title of the report;

  • Surnames, initials of authors and company names;

  • E-mail address for communication with authors (will be published in the collection);

  • Key words.


Requirements for the preparation of abstracts:

  • The text of the abstract should contain approximately 2,700 characters with spaces;

  • Formating: 12 Times New Roman font, aligned to the width. Red line 1 cm, one and a half interval;

  • Formulas are allowed;

  • Drawings must be submitted in vector format or in raster format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

  • The desired format for the submission of abstracts is * .doc, * .docx.


Requirements to the Content. The Abstract Should:

  • represent the main provisions of the report: the purpose of the work, content, research methods, novelty and relevance of results, practical significance, application possibilities;

  • contain technically credible information that contributes to industry technologies in accordance with the topics of the conference;

  • contain new, previously unpublished, knowledge or practical experience;

  • not be of a commercial nature, i.e. do not contain advertising specific companies, products or services.
